Day 1
  • Colombo to Varanasi flying.
  • Travel time 7 hours
  • Check in a hotel near to the River Ganga (26 KM)
  • First casual meeting - Light refreshments, warm welcomes, and your first step into introducing each other
  • Dinner and stay at the hotel in Varanasi
Day 2
  • Visit Brahmadatta Palace
  • Visit Ram Nagar Museum
  • After lunch, visit Sarnath and the following attractions:
  • Visit Sammuka Stupa
  • Visit Dhamekh Stupa
  • Visit Dharmarajika Stupa
  • Visit Mulagandhakuti Vihara -Original establishment
  • Visit Sarnath Archaeological Museum
  • Visit Deer Park (Megadaya)
  • Evening visit New Mulagandakuti Stupa (Dhamma Chakka Pawathwana suthra sajjayana at 5 pm- conducted by Sri Lankan Buddhist monks)
  • Evening, return to your hotel in Varanasi and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Day 3
  • Following breakfast, visit the Ganga River,
  • Private Rickshaw ride for each passenger (Varanasi Sightseeing attractions)
  • Experience the Sacred Rituals of Manikarnika Ghat
  • A Serene Journey on the Sacred Ganges River
  • Proceed to Bodhgaya 240 KM (6 hours).
  • Check in to Bodhgaya hotel.
  • Evening visit Maha Bodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree, Bodhgaya. Attend to Bodhi Pooja at Sacred Bodhi Tree- offer a flower ceremony and various religious practices, & spend the entire day engaging in your religious practices.
  • Return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Day 4
  • Visit the Mahabodhi Temple:
  • Begin the day with the Kiri Pidu Pooja ceremony at Mahabodhi Temple
  • Sil programme at the Mahabodhi temple.
  • Having breakfast and explore Durgeshwari caves
  • After lunch visit Sujatha village, Sujatha stupa and visit Niranjana river.
  • The evening came back to the Mahabodhi Temple & Sath Sathi Vandana near the Mahabodhi Temple.
  • Return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Day 5
  • After breakfast, drive to Rajgir. (Raja Gaha Nuwara) (72 KM- 2 hours):
  • Visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture Peak), climb by automated cable car.
  • Visit Vishwa Shanthi Stupa (World Peace Stupa),
  • Visit Panda Parwathya
  • Visit Chariot Wheel Marks and Shell Script Site (Gal Erunu Sthanaya)
  • Visit the place where the Bimbisara jail was located.
  • Visit Jeewaka Hospital
  • Visit Saptaparni Cave (Saptaparni Guha)
  • Visit Velu Vana (Bamboo Garden)
  • Visit Nalanda - one of the world's oldest universities.
  • Dinner & overnight stay in Rajgir.
Day 6
  • Following breakfast, drive to Vaishali (123 KM, 4 Hours) & explore Vaishali (Vishala Mahanuwara):
  • Visit the Vaishali museum -the place where lord Buddha's relic casket is located.
  • Visit Lichchavi Stupa in Vaishali (Lichchavi kings received one portion of the relics and constructed this stupa)
  • Visit to Ananda Stupa (Amabapali Stupa) & Ashoka Pillar (This is the only pillar that has never been broken)
  • Dinner & overnight stay in Vaishali
Day 7
  • Following breakfast, the first visit Kesariya Stupa (where the Kalama Sutra was held).
  • Then drive to Kushinagar (216 KM, 5 Hours) & explore Kushinagar (Kushinara)
  • Visit Kakkuttha River (Now Known as the Khanua River)
  • Visit Ramabhar Stupa (Mukutbandhan Stupa)
  • Visit Matha Kuar Shrine - Bhumisparsha Mudra
  • Dinner & overnight stay in Kushinagar.
Day 8
  • Following breakfast, visit Maha Parinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breath)
  • Then, continue to Lumbini. (150 KM 4 hours)
  • Visit Koliya Stupa in Ramgram, Nepal
  • Return, dinner and overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 9
  • Early morning visit Maha Maya Temple & Ashokan Pillar- Prince Sidhartha's birthplace
  • Visit King Suddhodana Palace- In Kapilavastu in Nepal
  • Visit the Nigrodharama temple in Kapilavastu (Nepal)
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 10
  • Leaving from Nepal and heading towards Shravasti
  • Visit King Suddhodana Palace- Kapilavasthu in India
  • Visit the Ramma, Suramma, and Subha Palaces
  • Visit Ane Pidu Situ (The wealthy merchant) Palace
  • Visit Angulimala Stupa
  • Then continue to Shravasti
  • Explore Jethavana, located in Shravasti Visit Ananda Bodhi in Jethavana Park Visit all important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Jethavana. Visit Jethavana: Sugandha Kuti, Damshaba Manadapaya, Sakman Maluwa, Ashta Stupa, Jethavana pond, Vajchi Kuti, Water Well used by Lord Buddha, Ananda Kuti, Pohoya Seema Malakaya (The place Lord Buddha stayed in the vassana (rainy season) period), Rahula Kuti, Thissa Kuti, Rajika Rama (Donated by Kosol Raja), Seevalie Kuti, Badantha Buddha Kuti, Badantha Deva Kuti, Saripuththa Stupa, Kosamba Kuti - Detailed explanation about every monastery
  • Visit Gandabba Wruksha Mula Stupa (Yamaha Maha Pelahara conducted place)
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Shravasti
Day 11
  • After breakfast, continue towards Lucknow (150 KM, three and a half hours)
  • Lucknow city tours- a fun tour to explore the capital city in Uttar Pradesh
  • Visit shopping- Phoenix Mall, Lucknow
  • Visit shopping - Lulu Mall, Lucknow
  • Visit evening attractions, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Park
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Lucknow.
Day 12
  • Starting from Lucknow and drive up to Sankassa.(200 KM 4 hours)
  • Visit Sankissa Stupa -The place where Load Buddha returned from Thautisa heaven.
  • Drive up to Agra (160 KM, 3 hours)
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Agra.
Day 13
  • Explore Agra:
  • Visit Taj Mahal
  • Visit Red Fort
  • Drive up to New Delhi (220 Km 3 hours)
  • dinner and overnight stay in New Delhi
Day 14
  • Explore Delhi attractions and shopping:
  • Visit the National Museum and the Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha
  • Visit the President’s House – Rashtrapati Bhavan
  • Visit Raj Ghat – The Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi’s Cremation
  • Visit the India Gate
  • Visit the Subhash Chandra Bose Statue
  • Visit Sarojini Nagar Market- Street market shopping
  • Dinner and overnight stay
Day 15
  • Farewell and exchange memories.
  • Continue to Delhi International Airport
  • Flying back to Sri Lanka
