Tour Reservation Procedure

Tour Registration & Booking Process At Meridian Holidays Katharagama (Pvt) Ltd, we follow a highly standardised and professional booking process designed to deliver a seamless experience from start to finish. Our tours are conducted with the highest quality standards and operate strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure personalised attention and optimal group dynamics, we limit each tour group to a maximum of 20 participants. Applications exceeding this capacity may be offered alternative tour dates. Step-by-Step Booking Procedure Your journey with us begins with an initial inquiry—this may be through a phone call, email, our official website, or social media platforms. We strongly encourage all prospective travellers to carefully review our Terms and Conditions before submitting an application. Once you are satisfied with the information provided, you may complete your application by: Filling out our online form, 1. Sending us an email, or 2. Submitting the documents via WhatsApp. To process your application, you are required to submit, 1. A clear copy of your passport bio page, and 2. Two recent passport-sized photographs (2 x 2 inches, white background) for visa processing.
  • After our team reviews your application, you will be notified of the outcome with a status of either “Approved” or “Not Approved.”
  • If approved, we will send you our official bank account details for payment. You may deposit your tour payment—either the required advance or full amount—directly into our Sri Lankan or Australian bank account (as applicable, based on your residency).
  • Once payment is made, kindly send us a copy of your bank deposit slip for verification. Within 24 hours, we will issue and email you an official receipt for your records.
  • Next, you will need to submit your original passport to our local office at No. 467, Siyambalape North, Siyambalape, Makola, for Indian visa processing.
  • If you are residing outside of Sri Lanka, you may opt to get your Indian visa directly from the Indian High Commission office located in your resident country. If you have a foreign passport other than Sri Lanka, we kindly advise you to contact the Indian High Commission office in your country directly to discuss.   • Special note for tour participants expecting to join from foreign countries: Once your Indian multiple visa is approved, please send a copy of your approved visa for your hotel reservation.
  • Once your visa is approved, all that’s left is to prepare for your exciting journey with us!.
  • We need to organise a convenient meeting with you to inform you about how you should prepare for the journey. This meeting may be a WhatsApp, Zoom or a physical meeting at one of our offices, convenient for you.
